Abilities:  Nidelia was born to a Selkie and human Mage, being born with a Seal Skin, her mother knew she was different the moment she laid eyes on her. At five years old Nidelia was playing with some other pups from her and her mother's pod when a Kelpie was stalking from below them as they were swimming around having fun.
This was the day Nidelia's life changed. Naturally the Kelpie saw them as food and attempted to get one of the pups, but her mother intervened, fighting off the Kelpie, but at a cost. Her mother's seal skin was damaged severely in the fight, but Nidelia, not even really thinking about it, went to her mother and was able to heal the skin back into repair. This of course made her stand out in her pod, sadly not in a good way.
Selkie's rarely ever have magic of any form, meaning that Nidelia was a freak among her own kind. In her sleep her own pod stole her seal skin and sold it to a poor human who often walked along the shore looking for seal skin to sell. This of course caused Nidelia great pain, as she went in search for her skin.
She is now a young adult among her kind at the age of twenty-five years. Her healing abilities have only gotten better with time, though she doesn't use them much unless absolutely necessary. By this time she has been seeking her Seal Skin for seven years. Over those years she taught herself to how fight competently to keep herself alive, along with escape tactics so that she didn't have to keep fighting up for very long.
